Olivia Wilde is an American actress and model. She began acting in the early 2000s, and has since appeared in a number of film and television parts, including roles in the serial-drama The O.C. and The Black Donnellys. She portrays Dr. Remy "Thirteen" Hadley in the TV drama House, and in 2010 starred as Quorra in Tron: Legacy.

Wilde has dual citizenship in the United States and Ireland.She derived her stage name "Wilde" from Irish author Oscar Wilde.She changed her surname while in high school, to honour the writers in her family, many of whom used pen names.She is a vegan.

She married Italian-American documentary filmmaker, flamenco guitar player, and son of an Italian prince,Tao Ruspoli, on June 7, 2003.
