Former NFL linebacker Junior Seau was arrested for domestic violence in Oceanside, California, in the early morning hours Monday, hours before he drove his car off a cliff in nearby Carlsbad, authorities said.

Rapper Eyedea Dead at 28
Michael 'Eyedea' Larsen has passed away at the tender age of 28. Larsen's mother Kathy Averill, who found him Sunday morning, confirmed the death via Facebook.
"It is with great pain and sadness that I tell you my son Mikey (Eyedea) has passed away. At this time we kindly request your respect and our privacy as we process this devastating loss. On behalf of Mikey's family, close friends and fans, thank you."
Eyedea's mom also created a fund-raising FB page for fans who would like to help with funeral expenses.

T.J. Lavin in Coma After Horrific BMX Accident
The BMX star and host of MTV's The Challenge crashed his bike during an event in Las Vegas last night and was rushed to the hospital. He is experiencing brain swelling and has been placed in a medically induced coma.

Shane Hmiel, 30, of Pleasant Garden, N.C., USAC’s ,suffered critical injuries in a single-car accident during qualifying for Saturday night’s “Sumar Classic 100” USAC Silver Crown race at the Terre Haute (Ind.) Action Track.

Maze gives additional use for family farm
Chris and Debbie Smith have taken their three children to various corn mazes in the mid-state area over the years and the upper Adams County residents decided it was time to put one in their own back yard.
Fields of Adventure, 64 Tree Lane, Aspers, provides visitors a wide range of activities including a giant seven-acre corn maze, mini corn maze, soybean maze, straw bale obstacle course, tile maze, pumpkin bowling and pick-your-own pumpkin patch among others.
“We have had Smithfield Farms for six years and just decided this year to do this as an extension of our farming,” said Chris Smith. “All local products are used here including the corn stalks and gourds and beef we sell at the concession stand. We saw it as another way to diversify. In this day in agriculture you can’t be too diversified.”
